Adding Events

The Biological Sciences Events Portal is a service of the Division of Biological Sciences to faculty, students, and colleagues. Our goal is to highlight major upcoming life sciences events:

Criteria for evaluating an event to be featured on this page include:

  • events that are interdisciplinary, co-sponsored events
  • events that are one day or multiple days in duration
  • event's speakers are widely known, prominent scientists
  • the event requires registration to attend
  • the event is open to the scientific public
  • the event has, or will have, its own website

If you believe you have an event that meets most of these criteria, please submit a request for listing it as a featured event to: Webmaster.

Be sure to include the following information:

  • the title of the event
  • the list of presenters and their affiliations if known
  • the date(s), time(s), and location of the event
  • the event sponsorship
  • the website address if available, or at least contact information (e-mail address / phone number) for people to request more information about the event,
  • a relevant graphic to accompany the listing, if available.
